When I started working in Tigabytes my first impression was the existing environment: where they have a balance of achieving the goals of projects but also offer space for recreation. But beyond of this, the attraction of Tigabytes is the multiple instances and the options that you have to learn, to personal growing, and to accumulation of life experiences. An example of that is the fact of work side-by-side with people from other countries, which makes the use of English essential to communication.
Also, my work experience on Tigabytes focused on First Tuesday: a global initiative sponsored by Tigabytes Chile, which aims to generate instances to support those individuals and organizations wishing to undertake a new project and/or business. In this area, my contributions were to the development of the website of First Tuesday, generating ad-hoc functionalities which satisfy the requirements presented in this regard, such as the ability to generate online networking among participants, or the ability of each participating city to adapt the web interface to their particular needs, among other things.
Finally, Tigabytes offers multiple options where you can contribute: whether in the areas of online application development, in monitoring and evaluation of projects, or in management, marketing and trade. It only depends on what you want to do.
