Why Tigabytes?

When you enter the Tigabytes headquarters for the very first time you will notice a large sign spelling the word "Google" completely composed of Lego bricks. Why you ask? Wrong office? Not at all! Tigabytes has always been working closely together with Google and is their leading partner in Latin-America and Chile.

Tigabytes Team

"We just do Google" -- that is what it is all about. You'll be introduced to a world of enterprise solutions which are solely based in "the cloud" and where modern web technology is the driving force behind everything. You won't be struggling with antique legacy systems hacked together two decades ago in Visual Basic 1.0 but instead work with the latest tools developed and used by the engineers from Mountain View.

When doing an internship at Tigabytes you'll be integrated into the existing workflow, doing tasks on your own or in small teams. You will learn how to work in an organized manner, take part in weekly meetings and hold presentations to bring your ideas to staff and clients. You will NOT brew coffee or make copies for your boss.

Taca-Taca Match

Our staff consists of a young, international team of professionals. If you have a question, ask and it will be highly appreciated. Everyone speaks Spanish as well as fluent English and will be happy to help you. The family-like environment is a true reflexion of our work philosophy, here at Tigabytes. In this sense we take advantage of being a small team to build close relationships. All of this makes Tigabytes an excellent place to work, and especially to learn new and exciting things.

Although we are known by our competitors for our professionalism when it comes to doing the job, we take pride of having a relaxed environment where erased hierarchies give space to a more human and creative spirit.

Our modern office comes fully equipped with kitchen, air-conditioning and taca-taca tables. Expect to play and train this game often as the staff is crazy about it.

Tigabytes Office

You'll be working and probably living in the Providencia neighborhood, the heart of Santiago, one of South-America's most exiting cities. This commune contains many high-rise apartment buildings as well as a significant portion of Santiago's commerce. It is notable for its large, old and elegant houses inhabited in the past by the Santiago's elite but now often used as offices. This dynamic, sometimes rushing environment is combined with the most varied cuisine, museums, shops and pubs, allowing you to get to know all the diversity of the city and its people. Go out and have a drink after work with your colleagues as they will most likely turn into friends within a short time. As you will be living in an area where many foreigners and young people live, you will never be a moment alone.
